Pal\u00e4ontologische Zeugnisse des antiken Meeresbodens sind \u00fcberall zu finden und werden im <em>Museum von Asti <\/em>gesammelt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Geschichte f\u00fchrt uns <em>mehr als 2000 Jahre zur\u00fcck<\/em> in die vorr\u00f6mische Zeit, als zwischen dem 9. und 8. Jahrhundert v. Chr. die Ligurer, ein nomadisches und friedliches Volk aus S\u00fcdfrankreich, das sich der Schafzucht widmete, in das Tanaro-Tal kamen und sich sp\u00e4ter mit den Kelten vereinigten.<\/p>\n<p>Die R\u00f6mer hinterlie\u00dfen zahlreiche Spuren ihrer Anwesenheit, von den Hauptstra\u00dfen (insbesondere die <em>Fulvia Stra\u00dfe<\/em>) \u00fcber die Toponymie bis hin zur Wahl der Standorte f\u00fcr menschliche Siedlungen.<\/p>\n<p>Aber es ist vor allem das Mittelalter, mit der Herrschaft der Langobarden, der Franken und schlie\u00dflich Barbarossa, das diese Gegend pr\u00e4gt. Die <em>Legende von Aleramo<\/em>, dem tapferen Ritter und ersten Markgrafen von Monferrato, veredelt die Urspr\u00fcnge des Monferrato.<\/p>\n<p>Zwischen dem 10. und 11. Jahrhundert entstanden die ersten befestigten D\u00f6rfer und wichtige lokale Adelsfamilien, die in unterschiedlichem Ma\u00dfe mit der einen oder anderen Macht verbunden waren, von der Gemeinde Asti bis zu den Markgrafen von Monferrato, etablierten sich auf der politischen B\u00fchne.<\/p>\n<p>Nur wenige wissen, dass das Monferrato die &#8222;burgenreichste&#8220; Region Italiens ist, in der sich im Vergleich zur Ausdehnung des Territoriums die meisten Festungen, herrschaftlichen Villen, T\u00fcrme und Herrensitze befinden, eben wegen der kapillaren Zersplitterung der Macht, der Fehden und der Privilegien. Dennoch bereichert die Pr\u00e4senz <em>romanischer Architektur von absoluter Exzellenz<\/em>, von der vor allem <em>die Abtei von Vezzolano<\/em> zeugt, und des <em>Barocks<\/em>, der immer elegant und manchmal prestigetr\u00e4chtig ist, diese H\u00fcgel auf einzigartige Weise, ebenso wie die weit verbreiteten Zeugnisse der antiken l\u00e4ndlichen Kultur und der Volksfr\u00f6mmigkeit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8220;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8220;4.17.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8220;default&#8220; global_colors_info=&#8220;{}&#8220;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8220;4.24.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8220;default&#8220; hover_enabled=&#8220;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8220;{}&#8220; text_text_color=&#8220;#000000&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8220;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Die meisten D\u00f6rfer bewahren ihre Verteidigungsmauern und mittelalterlichen Burgen oder bedeutende und elegante Adelssitze, die das Ergebnis des Wiederaufbaus der urspr\u00fcnglichen Verteidigungsanlagen sind.<\/p>\n<p><em>Panoramastra\u00dfen<\/em>, die den Blick auf die Alpen und den fernen Apennin freigeben, schl\u00e4ngeln sich entlang der H\u00fcgelk\u00e4mme, w\u00e4hrend das dichte Netz von Stra\u00dfen, die die D\u00f6rfer miteinander verbinden, den Blick auf <em>Landschaften <\/em>freigibt, die sich in den T\u00e4lern und an den H\u00e4ngen st\u00e4ndig ver\u00e4ndern, mal intim, mal pr\u00e4chtig; die Farben \u00e4ndern sich im Laufe der Jahreszeiten, zwischen den Weinbergen, die Eichen-, Pappel-, Hainbuchen- und Robinienw\u00e4ldern Platz machen. Zwischen Sonnenblumenfeldern und achtreihigem Mais, einer alten Maissorte mit einzigartiger S\u00fc\u00dfe und Geschmack, trifft man leicht auf eine Herde Fassone, die gesch\u00e4tzte piemontesische Rinderrasse, auf Schweine, aus denen die ber\u00fchmte Salame Cotto und andere schmackhafte W\u00fcrste hergestellt werden, oder auf Kapaune, die Protagonisten raffinierter lokaler Rezepte.<\/p>\n<p>Heute ist das Monferrato in der ganzen Welt auch f\u00fcr seine Weine, sein Lebensmittelhandwerk, seine Tr\u00fcffel und Haseln\u00fcsse bekannt.
